Boronated polyisobutenyl succinimide is generally used with oxidation inhibitors and acid neutralizing additives in gasoline and diesel engine oils. It provides excellent low temperature sludge and varnish control in gasoline engines, and effective dispersancy in diesel engine, natural gas and marine cylinder lubricants.
