High molecular weight polyisobutylene succinimide (HM-PIBSA) is a high molecular weight, water insoluble, cationic polymer used as an additive in lubricants and fuel formulations. It is a copolymer of isobutylene and maleic anhydride with a succinimide linker. It is a highly efficient anti-wear additive, providing superior protection against wear and tear in a wide range of lubricant and fuel applications.
